Robert A. Espaillat

Our CEO serves as GML’s President and Managing Member. The Company business plan calls for our CEO to oversee banking services, as well as ensuring appropriate resources for compliance and operations.

 

He has worked in the financial services industry for nearly 25 years. A registered securities broker (Series 6 and Series 63), has worked in various fields, including banking, debt management, real estate management and business development. From 2002 to 2007 he served as
President and CEO of Accion New York, one of the largest micro-lenders in the United States.  In 2007, he was appointed President and Director of NYNB Community Bank in the Bronx, NY, a transitional position while the bank was merging with a larger institution.  While President of NYNB, he had operational responsibilities for deposit, lending, MSB accounts and maintained an FX desk for commercial customers.

In addition to GML, he heads up Renewal Capital, a sole proprietorship through which he provides real estate and business consulting services. He holds a B.S. in Management from Southern Illinois University and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1985 to 1993.
